■Please be informed about the upcoming production location change for our cable supplier Temp-Flex, LLC.
■Change Description
▲Our cable supplier Temp-Flex, LLC have informed ams AG that the cable provided for our NanEye product family, will move its production location from U.S.A to Mexico.
▲To guarantee a smooth transition, ams AG plans to increase its safety stocks of the current production location to cover the forecasted period of 03 2021.
■Impact on reliability/qualification and production status
▲Temp-Flex, LLC, will assume qualification of the new production location and its materials. A correlation exercise between production plants on the cable provided to ams AG will be carried out at Temp-Flex, LLC.
■Traceability
▲Traceability is assured by batch management at assembly partner Focuz Manufacturing Co, LTD and ams AG ERP system.
